On November 8 the 3rd plenary meeting took place at the NHL in Leeuwarden. The NHL (Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden) and Inholland are the initiators of this consortium, read more about this in a previous post.
During this meeting the status of the work packages were presented by the work package leaders. Each package is being coordinated by one of the SME parties (Schatmaker, Scabro, Polyworx, Epomat, Pontis). During the meeting it was agreed that WP1 (state of the art) would focus on harvesting data from the consortium partners and that Schatmaker would lead this effort with the NHL. On WP2/3/4 several interns and graduate students have started and stay in touch with the partners (see http://r1ght.nl/project/ for the status). 4 Business Study from Inholland will investigate the business cases for work package 5.
During the meeting an extensive tour of the NHL was provided by Johannes van der Steen, who is coordinating this partnership in this consortium. The 3D print lab was shown and a demonstration of in-hous produced composites solar panels. This is really beneficial to some members of the consortium.
